| Day 33: Chengdu Scenery on route between Xian and Chengdu was beautiful, it was full of mountains and valleys. Things started to look more tropical. Arrived in Chengdu around 4 AM and took a cab to my hostel. Went to one of those "hole in a wall" - type of places to eat supper and managed to order first uneatable food while in China. It appeared to be made out of belly or guts of some sort of animal, didn`t find out what animal exactly. Day 34: Chengdu
Nothing special planned, since I wasn`t supposed to come in to Chengdu in a first place. Walked around city and tried to find APS -film and music DVD`s. Found both. It was movie night in hostel and I had a few beers, while watching new Mel Gibson flick: We were soldiers. Day 35: Chengdu - Chongqing
Took a bus to Chongqing in a morning. I´m supposed to cruise down Yangzi river to Yichang for three days, which should be interesting. Boat didn`t leave until 6 PM, so I had few hours to kill before heading to the harbor. It was too hot to stay outside so I just went to a restaurant with AC and had a few beers.
